What You See When You Drive In
The three images in this post were taken on a regular working day at our Guindy facility. No staging, no cleaning up for the camera. What you see is what the workshop looks like when we are mid-week and fully loaded. European cars on lifts, bonnets open, a mix of brands across the floor and technicians working through a queue.
The overhead shot shows the full length of the 12,000 sq.ft space. On that day there was a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport waiting for a service slot, an Audi Q5 on a lift, a BMW 5 Series with its engine bay open, and several other European cars in various stages of work. This is a normal day.
The second and third images show a BMW 3 Series, a Mercedes-Benz CLA and an Audi A6 parked together in the service bay. Three different brands, three different platforms, one workshop. Most independent workshops in Chennai have a primary brand they know well and everything else they handle on request. A BMW specialist will service your 3 Series confidently. Building diagnostic capability, parts knowledge and technician experience around a single brand would limit what we can do for those customers.

What the Workshop Is Set Up to Handle
The 12,000 sq.ft floor is divided into service bays with hydraulic lifts, a separate body shop area operated as Detail Dynamics, wheel alignment bay with the Hunter HawkEye Elite system, and the main service reception. The space allows multiple cars to be in progress simultaneously without the work areas overlapping.
Diagnostic Equipment
The primary diagnostic tool for routine multi-system scanning across all brands is Autel. For brand specific work that requires deeper access, we use ISTA for BMW, XENTRY for Mercedes-Benz, ODIS for Audi, Volkswagen and Skoda, VIDA for Volvo, and SDD Pathfinder for Jaguar and Land Rover. This is not a point of difference we lead with, it is a basic requirement for servicing these cars correctly.
Oil and Parts Specification
Every service at Evolve starts with the correct oil specification pulled from the vehicle’s build data, not from a generic chart. BMW LL-04, Mercedes-Benz 229.51, VW 504.00, Volvo VCC-RBS0-2AE, these are not interchangeable. Each brand has its own specification for a reason, and using the wrong grade is a common problem in workshops that treat European cars as generic.

Before any work begins, you receive a written estimate covering what was found on inspection and what we recommend. No work is started without your approval of that estimate. This is not a process we introduced recently, it has been the way we operate since 2017.
